Awadifo organization aims to support the underprivileged inhabitants of the Third World countries to build better lives for their families and the whole community. We help them to start small scale income creating activities with which they can create a better future.
Awadifo means ”thank you” in Lugbarati language which is spoken in northwestern Uganda. This is also the place where we start our work. In the future we hope to be able to work also in other Third World countries. We raise funds for our activities by donations and organising events.
Awadifo was founded in Finland in 2021 and we have one person working in Uganda. Let me introduce you to Harriet from Uganda.
HARRIET Adania, is a community development worker in North Western (West Nile) Uganda, she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration specializing in Project Planning and Management.
Harriet has experience in project management, entrepreneurial skills training, business coaching and mentorship and pastry and bread making. She loves sharing development ideas and meeting new people. Harriet is a self-motivated person, a team player but also an individual thinker and a motivator of others. Harriet considers it an honor to be part of the positive change in lives of children, the youth, the women and the men.
